Going to the bathroom on holiday

Going to the bathroom abroad is always an adventure! These bathroom experiences are ones you'd rather not add to your list.

1. Arriving after a long flight in a very hot arrival hall where you can smell the bathrooms from a distance.

2. Using one of the dirty bathrooms along the highway when you're going on holiday by car.

3. A nightclub where the locals find it completely normal that there's no toilet paper available at all.

4. An overflowing bin with used toilet paper in a bar-dancing at a youth party destination that will only be emptied the next morning.

5. Receiving a small sheet of toilet paper for a few cents when entering the toilet, while you've just been traveling for three weeks, eaten strange things, and your whole body is upset because of it.

6. Starting a ten-hour bus trip with a bus toilet already filled to the brim with pee and other nasty things.

7. Being happy that people have a bathroom in the middle of the mountains, but it turns out to be just a hole surrounded by poop.

8. A four-hour bus trip without a bathroom on the bus, the driver doesn't want any delays and therefore makes no sanitary stops.

9. Entering the bathroom on the plane and someone has thrown up in the sink and just left it there.

10. Bathroom doors with large openings on the sides, allowing those waiting to watch you pee (and they actually do).
